It's Complicated

I have a complicated theory for you that I will say with the following simple thought. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."

I was talking with a college roommate several years ago, and we were discussing this very complicated theory. Eventually, we ended thinking the same thing. If a breath that you release is used to praise God, then you and that breath have fulfilled your purpose. If the step that you take is a step closer to Christ, then that step rejoices that it can do something that is God ordained. You see, everything that we have and everything that we DO is designed to be in line with what God has for us. Therefore, when you sing, the breath that you use to sing and the vocal chords that vibrate are honored to serve the Lord.

Scripture says that our body is a temple. The truth is, that is exactly right. Even as I type these words, the keys on my keyboard are thankful that they are serving the purposes of God.

It's a simple phrase. It's a complicated theory.
